It was a small con but full of original comic work and it was lovely to see my friends again!

A big thank you to every one who dropped by to visit me and Mimi Evelyn at Thought bubble this weekend (5th-6th Nov) in the New Docks Hall.
I had a wonderful time and its the event I love the most in seeing all my friends and being surrounded by great talent.
This is the end of my con season for 2016 and it ended positive! Here's looking to next year!

Thank you to everyone who dropped on by my table at London MCM expo comic con this weekend (28th-30th Oct).
It's always nice to come back to MCM, specially during October when everyone gets spooky!
Accompanying me was Chiichanny, illustrator and doll artist who enjoyed her first time exhibiting too.
I did really well and sold out completely of both The Wastelands #2 and my Dark Souls 3 fanbook! The thing I really look forward to now is seeing my art friends I haven't seen in months and meeting brand new people! I had a great time and got many gifts from fans 💖💖💖

Thank you to everyone who dropped on by, I had a super great time at NOR CON this past Saturday (8th Oct).
It was my first time being on my own but I was made very welcome and the assistants were super helpful.
The Wastelands sold really well which super surprised me. I hope I can come again next year!

I was invited to submit a couple of pieces for the Alfred East Art Gallery exhibition on comic work.
It was a rather sudden submission, I did send quite a couple of pieces but only 2 made it in.

It was a small exhibition of 2 rooms, one containing the difference processes of how fine/traditional illustration/art was created (drafts, layers of oils, composition etc) and how comics are created (script, thumbnails, inks, lettering etc)
It was rather an odd way to compare but I enjoyed how they went to lengths to really explain how comics are art and should also be treated as art.






The other room was full of donated published originals and female artists, including mine. Showing how versatile the styles people can create today. Just like the subject matter of old paintings, comics are take all shapes and forms. For a small exhibition is was densely packed and really well researched and informative. They even displayed an 1970's full comic originals of a Dracula story in inkwash and that was gorgeous!

Thank you to everyone who visited me and Chiichanny at LSCC this weekend (20th-21st Feb)
In honesty it was a very difficult con to be at but it was def an experience and I loved being with Chiichanny and she was a great partner to be with during the weekend!

It was so wonderful to be back in my uni home town and hang out with friends, visiting my old tutors and just having a great time. Mega props to Phase Chan for putting me up for the event

Thank you to everyone who came to Thought Bubble at The Royal Armouries/New Dock in Leeds this weekend (14th-15th Nov).
Table buddy was Mimi again and we had such a great time, we were also next to one of the artists of the rap group DMC!

With how things are going right now I'm surprised to keep my head above water. Having a difficult time with printers but I think possible I'll be having copies of Wasteland for sale in May at my Etsy store along with a few more prints. I'm so relived to finally have it finished and bound! I hope you'll buy a copy and enjoy it!

My time at university is quickly coming a close. Just a few months before my degree show and graduation and this month I'll be working hard to tie up loose ends in my work and research. It's strange how the saying "Time flies" applies but it does. This time last year I was in Belgium taking exams on post modernism artists of the 50's and freaking out if I'm drawing a forest dense enough. The year before I was Happily plowing away through my work only to be told that any grade I get wouldn't go down for my final mark in the final year. I miss being a workaholic, but I realised I ended up getting myself way too sick too often and have taken a different work routine, balancing work and play more effectively (or possible not, I do get addicted to L4D2 too much)

In the meantime I'll be working on finally getting all my work organised and sorted, not to mention getting stuck into a new project. I'll also be attending the The London Book Fair the full three days (11-13th April) At Earls Court, London. There I'll be giving out limited copies of Wasteland, Marble, prints and bookmarks. So if you're attending, feel free to find us in the huge hall and get some free stuff from me!


I'm going to be heading around and trying to talk to everyone! It's going to be exciting! I'm really looking forward to checking out the printing and GN sections, but oh man the Cooking section looks great too! We have such a tiny stand with so many people attending (a whole class full of books!) so it'll be fun trying to catch and lure people to come visit! Best bit is that we're right next to an ice cream stall, so all the icecream I can afford! I'll also be hanging out with my best and oldest friend who works at SEGA. Hav eyou guys played Shogun 2? I highly recommend you do, it's really good fun!
