The Wastelands is an ongoing comic I started in late 2010 for my Illustration final project, incorporating Bande dessinée and manga influences with Mayan and Mongolian cultural inspirations.
Based of in a land where people and Gods co-existed and lived peacefully. A traumatic event left the gods suddenly disappearing, leaving an empty world.
The Wastelands: Rahu; is the prologue, establishing the world of Kasa, the hallow deserted temples left abandoned and fields overgrown. The story situates around Rahu, a hunter outcast by his clan and countrymen. Discovering the world outside his kingdom's walls, the vast riches and dangers await.

The Wastelands: Amy; Young girl Amy wakes up on a broken and rusted bus with no idea how she ended up in the middle of a landscape of mountains and flat fields filled with monsters. Meeting the stranger Kyror who saves her life, he decides to help her and together they journey through the land of Anil to seek the wise ones for a way for Amy to return.
